Let me tell you a little story about our business of the week, Triangle Electric Inc, from #QueensNY. I got a call from the real estate attorney Chris Psomopoulos (https://thecplawoffice.com/) about our clients who are selling in #Maspeth . There was an open electrical permit from 1996, previous to when they bought the house, which needed to be closed. The regular agent would have contacted a #licensedelectrician to look into it. I decided to check DOB records and found the original company that did the job 28 years ago: Triangle Electric Inc. Guess what, not only are they still in #business but they replied to my telephone message! (lol, yes, an old fashioned #voicemailmessage !). The president of the company himself called me back from his personal cell phone. He found the file, verified the job was completed and needed only a DOB final inspection that for some reason was never done, and, reopened the job. He was courteous, professional and asked for nothing in return. My sellers were ecstatic. Not only was he doing the right thing, but he was respectful and diligent, in spite of the fact that he need not answer to us, just to Conedison, who is responsible for the job (grounding of the meters). For this reason, Triangle Electric Inc., of Queens, NY, is our #businessoftheweek. I do take a sliver of the credit, mainly for being hands on, for keeping my faith in humanity and for knowing how to talk to people. Respect . Take that #ArtificialInteligence ! Sometimes, the small jobs say a lot about your company´s values.
